TTU has strategic Partnership with KIHBT since May 2025 through signing of a cooperation agreement. The VC Taita Taveta University Prof.Fred Barasa gave a key note address today on the sub theme: Training & Capacity Building and Greening & Digitalization. His distinguished expertise portrayed in these areas during his key note enriched the conference Panel discussions joined by Prof. Eng. Prof. Benard Alunda. E was joined by Director General KIHBT,Arch.Githiri ,Dr.Chrispus Ndinyo (NCA) and Eng. Hassan (MELTEC UG) among others. KIHBT in collaboration with TTU will be commencing plant operator training at Taita Taveta University from 1st July 2026. The enrolling activity for trainees has been launch in Mombasa with joint teams involved in publicizing the programme in the coast region.
