Profile of the Registrar
Prof. Justin Kambale Maghanga holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (University of Eldoret), MPhil in Analytical Chemistry (Moi University) and B.Sc in Chemistry (Moi University). He has served at Taita Taveta University since 2015 and was the founding Dean, School of Science and Informatics.
His research interests are in the field of Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, Soil Chemistry and Atmospheric Pollution studies. Prof. Maghanga has vast Industrial experience having previously worked in the fields of; refractories, steel production, paint formulations and black tea production quality control.
Prof. Maghanga has professional membership with the Royal Society of Chemistry, Environmental Institute of Kenya, Chemical Society of Kenya and Pan African Chemical Society. He also sits in the Technical Committee "Sanitation and wastewater treatment" in Kenya Bureau of Standards.
What We Do
We provide guidance on course selection, admission, dissemination of exams up to certification. We also oversee Planning of Programmes as well as provide research, and quality assurance secretariat services.
