Business and Management Sciences Department

The Department of  Business and Management Sciences (BMS) is one of the departments in the School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (SBESS. The department offers teaching training programmes at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels. We also offer short  professional courses in the areas of accounting and procurement.

The department is committed to train highly skilled manpower in the fields of Business, information technology and management through offering the following courses: Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) with the following specializations: Accounting Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies management (BPSM), Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT), Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Accounting, Finance, Strategic Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Natural Resource Management and Operations Management, Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management (DPSM), Diploma in County Governance (DCG), Certificate in Purchasing and Supplies Management (CPSM) and Certificate in County Governance (CCG).

Currently the  department has finalized the development of Doctor of Philosophy programme with specializations in Accounting, Finance, Strategic Management, Marketing, Human Resource management and Operations management. This will commence soon.
