Taita Taveta University proudly launched the orientation program for the inaugural cohort of its Masters in Education students on Monday, April 7, 2025. The week-long event, scheduled to run through Friday, April 11, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the university’s continued growth in postgraduate education.
The orientation program is designed to familiarize the new students with the university’s academic environment, resources, and support services. It also provides an opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, and peers, laying a strong foundation for academic and professional success.
The Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic, Research & Outreach) Prof. Justin Maghanga welcomed the students, expressing his excitement at the launch of the program and reaffirming the university’s commitment to producing skilled and transformative educators. “This is a historic moment for TTU, and we are confident that this program will contribute immensely to the advancement of education both locally and nationally,” he noted.
Laboratories, workshops, departmental briefings, campus tours, and networking sessions are part of the week’s activities, ensuring students are well-prepared for the journey ahead.
